Senior Forensic Officer, Document Examination Unit, Documents and Digital Evidence Branch, Chemistry Division, Victoria Police Forensic Services Department (VPFSD) Duties have included:

• Management of the Unit and its resources.
• Management of the examination of over 400 cases per annum.
• The examination of handwritten images, machine generated images and other aspects of documentary evidence.
• Management of quality and training systems.
• The preparation of laboratory reports and statements.
• The presentation of evidence to investigators and to the courts.

Since 1990 Dr Found has given evidence, and been accepted as an expert in this field, in the Family, Magistrates, County and Supreme courts of Victoria in both civil and criminal matters.

Senior Research Fellow, School of Human Biosciences, La Trobe University. Head of the Forensic Expertise Profiling Laboratory. Duties include:

• Undertaking research on the motor control of handwriting and its forensic applications.
• The design, manufacture, delivery and analysis of forensic signature and handwriting proficiency and validation studies. Participants have included forensic laboratories and experts in Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada and Europe.
• Supervision of graduate research projects. Currently Dr Found supervises three Masters by research students and one Doctorate in Philosophy candidate. All graduate students are also qualified Forensic Document Examiners.
